In over 35 years of banking in Noblesville, I have watched as one local bank after another has been absorbed by large corporate giants to the point where locally owned banks are becoming extinct. The realization and frustration of these giant mergers inspired me to gather a group of local businessmen to explore the possibility of starting our own local bank here in Hamilton and Madison counties. We felt there was a definite need for a real local bank that is owned and run by local people and that provides customers with personalized, high-level service.
